This ministry pulls together interested parishioners to organize, plan and execute fundraising events as needed. Prior years’ successful and fun events have included “A Night of Stand-up Comedy and Silent Auction”, the “Cameo’s Oldies Concert and Silent Auction” and the Craft/Vendor Shows. This is a wonderful way to socialize and work with other members of SEAS and do as much as you are able to support these parish events.

The Biblical definition of hospitality is to make room inside yourself for another in the way God has for us. To share in hospitality and fellowship among parishioners, six times a year the Hospitality group provides refreshments after the Sunday 8:00 am and 9:30 am Masses and also supports special events, like the reception after Benediction on Seton Sunday. We purchase supplies at parish expense, make reminder calls to parishioners who have signed up to bring refreshments, set up tables, make coffee, serve it, refill baked goods trays and clean up. For special events, notices are put in the bulletin. This is a great ministry if your time is limited.

The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal service organization. Founded in America in 1882, there are 1.8 million men worldwide in the Order. We continue to follow our founding principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. Knights are staunch defenders of the faith, religious freedom and the dignity of life. The Council, formed at SEAS in 2012, supports the parish, and local and regional charities through fundraising events and drives. This is a great opportunity to meet and work with Catholic men, form friendships and give back to the community and Church. The reward draws you closer to God and strengthens your faith. Please consider joining us! We save lives-We change lives!

Members of the Photography ministry visually capture the services and events that create our beautiful parish story.
We hope to help newcomers feel welcome and help all of us acknowledge SEAS as our spiritual home. Many of the photos you see in the bulletin, in Mass and Ministry Fair slide shows, on RF class doors, on photo-boards displayed throughout the church, and in local and diocesan newspapers and on-line sites have been submitted by our ministers.
Others are provided by parishioners who are willing to share their precious moments. All are welcome! We serve based on availability and interest.
If you feel inspired to share your creative talents in this graceful, gentle way, please consider joining us.

Knitters and crocheters (from beginner to experienced) gather on the 2nd Thursday of each month in the morning and/or evening for prayer and fellowship while we knit and crochet. Prayer shawls are presented to anyone in need of comfort due to illness, loss of a loved one or in difficult times. Anyone interested in just learning or sharing his or her talents are welcome to join us.

The Seton Men’s Club was formed in 2001 under the patronage of St. Joseph. Our Club meets on the second Thursday each month and is open to all men of the parish. Our Mission is Spirituality, Service and Social. Our members serve both the parish and the community as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Ministers of Hospitality, Readers and members of the Liturgical Environment Committee. Our major activity is the Annual Parish Picnic. Our community outreach involves support to the Hunterdon Interfaith Outreach Council and the Hunterdon Drug Awareness Program. Each year we aid the Bala Chapel in Kenya with grants to complete their modest church. During our meetings we host guest speakers, address current topics of interest, plan service projects and have discussions concerning our faith. There is always a social aspect to our meetings.

Seton Seniors
Currently inactive Ministry available for you to take on and make it your own!

Typically this ministry was a group of seniors (men and women 62+) who would get together, from 1 to 3+ pm on the fourth Thursday of each month (except July and August). The would take various trips to shows and occasionally have speakers who inform about matters of interest to seniors, such as the Raritan Township Surrogate giving the latest information on Living and Final Wills. We have held an indoor picnic in June, an ice cream social in September, played Bingo or Left, Right, Center. We enjoyed refreshments and each other’s company, which most liked the best.

If you are in search of a welcoming connection in our parish, if you are looking to deepen your relationship with God, or if you would like an opportunity to share your thoughts and talents with other women of the parish, then WSG is here for you. We are an eclectic group of Catholic women of all ages and experiences in life. We allow the Spirit to guide our activities of service, fellowship and fun. We have some backbone activities in our annual schedule but also allow for member-inspired topics at our first Thursday of the month meetings. Not every activity is for all but that’s the beauty of the Group. By socializing and sharing with different women, we grow in special ways and are able to reach out to support other ministries and charitable endeavors as the Spirit moves us. We cordially invite you to give us a try.
