Interested in learning more about our Catholic faith in a way that is easy to understand and will enable you to grow in your personal relationship with Christ? We offer a variety of programs, including Bible studies, sessions on the basics of our faith, and seminars on various topics. Morning and evening sessions are offered. Some programs require home study, others do not. Some run for several weeks, others offer independent sessions so you can come to whichever sessions you’d like. If you can’t make it to sessions at the church, we offer online bible study programs and faith formation opportunities for you to take with you in the form of CDs, books and DVDs.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)
If you want to become a Roman Catholic or complete your Initiation into the Church, the RCIA is for you! Through weekly sessions, adults are prepared for the Sacraments of Initiation which take place at the Easter Vigil. Specifically, non-Christian adults are prepared for Baptism, Confirmation and First Eucharist; non-Catholic Christians and Catholics who are only baptized are prepared for Confirmation and First Eucharist. The RCIA process is conducted in our parish on Sunday mornings during/after the 9:30 am Liturgy. RCIA Team members serve as catechists, sponsors, and Sharers of the Word. Adults or high school students who need the Sacrament of Confirmation should also contact the RCIA Director.

We start with a worship rally to introduce concepts that will be shared that day. Then, the children rotate through stations where they experience an age-appropriate Bible story, do crafts, have snacks, sing and play games, all with the Bible story and its lessons as their focus. We finish the day by all gathering again to reinforce what we’ve learned. Themed songs are sung throughout the morning. A special VBS Mass is held one day and the week ends at the grand finale on Friday when each group performs for each other and their families a special song celebrating the Lord and His gifts. The week is filled with laughs, love and learning. No need to have a child in the program to apply.
